Some info about Peugeot’s new 5008 MPV.
THE new Peugeot 5008 is, in simple terms, Peugeot's rival to the world class Renault Scenic. Not to be confused with Peugeot's also new and very attractive 3008 which is a "Crossover" (mix of SUV and MPV) vehicle, the 5008 is unashamedly a seven seat family MPV and so as such it shall be judged.
The new 5008 competes in a growing and indeed now competitive segment of the Irish market, the family car segment. There are three models available, the SE, SX and the SX Ecomatic all powered by a 1.6 Hdi diesel. I have been road testing the 1.6 Hdi SE model to see how it compares with the best of the rest.
