Above about Honda Odyssey touring elite unveiled.
The division of Honda North America has taken the wraps of its latest generation MPV 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite, a model is set to go on sale across the U.S. this fall. The car comes with both exterior and interior enhancements and a new V6 engine.
Compared with the current version of the model in 2011 has a lower roof line and a wider track, along with aerodynamic improvements, which helps increase fuel economy and also provides extra interior width.
Exterior highlights include HID front headlight, 18-inch alloy wheels, 12.6-inch ventilated front disc brakes, power side mirrors with integrated turn indicators, as well as a power tailgate.
“The all-new 2011 Honda Odyssey seeks to redefine the concept of the minivan with its aggressive stance and sporty "lightning-bolt" beltline. The lightning bolt not only provides an exclusive appearance, but also adds increased visibility for third-row passengers,” a company statement reads.
The 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring Elite is powered by a 3.5-liter i-VTEC V-6 engine with three-mode Variable Cylinder Management that promises to deliver an estimated 19 to 28 mpg (city/highway). Final EPA mileage estimates are still to be disclosed, as well as performance figures of this powerplant.
“New interior features add more convenience for families, while available entertainment technology introduces high-definition connectivity and split-screen viewing,” the statement adds.
Interior highlights include a 12 speaker premium audio system, voice activated sat-nav, the Ultra-Wide Rear Entertainment System (RES), a cool box in lower center stack, memory-linked 10-way power driver's seat, one-strap stowable 3rd Row Magic Seat and more.
